The Business Capability Development Program (BCDP) is boosting the sustainability of services like yours - small and standalone early childhood education and care (ECEC) providers in NSW. The Program is funded by the NSW Childcare and Economic Opportunity Fund, administered by the Department of Education and delivered in close collaboration between the program partner S&S (Semann & Slattery) and training providers  (Semann & Slattery and CELA).

This learning space is designed to support the implementation of your agreed capability areas and goals under the Building Capability Development Program (BCDP). Here, you will find a curated selection of resources, developed to be explored in collaboration with your assigned BCDP Consultant.

The portal includes tools and videos across two capability areas:

  • Governance and Oversight
  • Financial Management and Processes

Your consultant will guide you through these materials, supporting you to reflect, apply, and integrate insights into your service's operations.

How to use this portal:

  • Register by creating a login.
  • Access the resources under each topic area as directed by your BCDP Consultant.
  • Watch the videos and download the tools relevant to your service’s goals as instructed by your BCDP Consultant.
  • Bring questions, reflections, or actions to your follow-up sessions for deeper discussion and application.
