  • Receive credible recognition

CELA Micro Credentials move beyond a certificate of attendance. Once you achieve your Micro Credential, a digital badge verifies the skills and learning acquired. This can be shared on social media platforms, added to your service QIP and be used to enhance your professional resume.

What exactly are micro credentials?

Micro credentials are workshops that build competence around core areas. CELA Micro Credentials offer a range of workshops designed to increase practical skills that can be applied immediately in your day-to-day practice. Each workshop covers one topic and is broken down into a range of short sessions.

  • They are designed for educators to engage in learning at their own pace.

  • They support a variety of learning styles and feature pre-recorded sessions, activities, resources and assessments.

  • Once completed, the educator will receive a digital badge of recognition from CELA that they can share with colleagues via email, and proudly add to the service QIP and their professional profile on platforms like LinkedIn.

How it works

  • Choose a Micro Credential that builds the skills you need for yourself or your team.

  • Purchase the Micro Credential for anyone who needs upskilling in your organisation (you can purchase as many as you like in one transaction).

  • The purchaser/credit card holder will receive a receipt via email.

  • A CELA representative will enrol the student in the relevant Micro Credential (note: the enrolment process will require 24 hours of processing time on weekdays. If the Micro Credential is purchased on a Friday or over the weekend, the enrolment will be completed on a Monday).

  • Once enrolment is completed, the student will receive an email inviting them to change their password and log in to the learning portal.

  • The student has one year from the date of purchase to complete the credential.

What you will receive

Once you complete a Micro Credential you will receive a digital badge and certificate by email. The digital badge can be pasted into your CV, added into your service QIP or shared on social media to showcase your new skills.
